![]() WHICH OS IN VMWARE FUSION FOR WINDOWS 11?Īs is immediately obvious, Fusion offers a lot of OS options, but no Windows 11: Notice it’s picked up “Windows11_InsiderPreview_Client_圆4_en-us_2245…” as the image name. ![]() Drag the ISO file onto the light blue target rectangle.Īfter a few moments it’ll recognize the image and offer up this new window: Since we have the ISO disc image from Microsoft, that’s the easiest option. Choose File > New and you’ll see this:Īs you can see, lots of choices. Once the download’s done, launch VMWare Fusion… CREATING A WINDOWS 11 VIRTUAL MACHINEįusion makes creating a virtual machine pretty easy, actually. Do that, then go get a cup of tea it’s going to take a while to get a 5GB download. One of the options there is to download a beta of the new operating system. A few clicks and you gain access to the Windows Insider area on the Microsoft site. Do that by going into Settings on your Windows 10 system and searching for ‘insider’. It’s big, over 5GB, and you’ll need to join the Windows Insider Program to gain access. The first step is to get a copy of the latest Windows 11 release as an ISO file. ![]() I imagine it won’t be long before there’s a default “Windows 11” option within the Fusion setup process, but until then, I’m running version 12.1.2 and here’s how it worked… DOWNLOAD THE WINDOWS 11 ISO In this tutorial, I go through a full Windows 11 install from the Microsoft ISO image download so you can see where it’s easy and where you have to guess and hope you’re choosing the best option. You can test your existing PC to ensure it’s Win11 compatible – How to Check If Your PC Can Run Windows 11 – and it turns out you can actually create a virtual workspace in VMWare Fusion that includes a TPM, as I detail here: Add TPM 2.0 To Your VMWare Fusion Virtual Machine.īut this begs the question can VMWare Fusion actually run Windows 11 at this point? The answer is, well, mostly. For a PC to be compatible with Windows 11, it will now need to have what’s known as a Trusted Platform Module for better platform security. Microsoft is tightening the requirements for people to run Windows 11 on their computers, muchly around the issue of security. ![]() ![]() 1.8.4.1 Snow Leopard, Outlook/Entourage, Exchange Web Services.1.8.4 iCal And Entourage Use for Calendars - Leopard/10.5 users.1.8.3.2 Server's With Multiple Domains - Effect Users Are In Default Domain.1.8.3.1 Space In Calendar Name's And Other "Special Characters".1.8.3 Not seeing Calendar's In iCAL/CALDAV.1.8.2 Only Seeing 1 Month Back and 1 Year Ahead In CalDAV.1.7.1.1 Configuring EWS And Calendar.app.1.6.10 Mac clients cause spamming of invitation events when they adjust calendar events.1.6.9 Calendar Invites can't be imported into iCal.1.6.8 Directory Access configuration on Macs.1.6.6 Colors for Calendar & Appointments (Non-client specific).1.6.5 iCal calendar color changing modifies calendar name and/or doesn't retain color.1.6.4 Alarm & Calendar Notification Issues with iCal.1.6.3 Calendar events are displaying the wrong time.1.6.2 Can't see items in shared Calendar.1.5.1.1 For The Stubborn - Getting Old Z-iSync Connector.1.5.1 Can't Sync Calendars Between Entourage and Zimbra.1.4.4.1 Setting Up LDAP With Authentication - ZCS 8+.1.4.4 Use LDAP directory from ZCS for Mac Addressbook / Mail.App / iCal for Mac 10.4. ![]() 1.4.3.3 Additional Details And Troubleshooting Steps - Proxy Issues Most Likely.1.2 App To Help Enable Debugging Options. ![]() Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board. ![]() Right-of-Way Service Provider Registration. LEGO Designers: Carl Merriam, Daire McCabe, and Benjamin Ma Name: 71395 Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block Special thanks to LEGO for sending this set for review 71395 Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block Set Details ![]() I’ve been sitting on this one and procrastinating, but this week’s Mario Day and Princess Peach’s Castle reveals inspired me to finally type out this review! This cycle of large, highly detailed buildable Nintendo objects are incredibly exciting if you have a long history and affinity with Nintendo.Īpologies that this review is a little late. Thankfully, LEGO have not completely forgotten adult LEGO fans, with 2 Nintendo-licensed exclusives – the first being the 2020’s 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System and the 71395 Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block, which was released last year in 2021. ![]() The LEGO Super Mario theme is quite divisive amongst LEGO and Nintendo fans, partly because it’s not a typical minifigure-centric theme, and also partly because the phygital play (a portmanteau for physical and digital) isn’t really geared towards adults or older LEGO fans, who contribute most to the online discourse, on blogs, social media or whatnot. ![]() Hardware acceleration, multi-color Chroma Key, adjustable parameters settings and enhanced resolution make VSDC a real time and effort saving tool allowing for creating large size HD videos in a few minutes instead of hours. Non-linear also means that video files and images do not necessarily have to follow a linear (direct) sequence – they can appear in various positions in the scene synchronously with other objects, and at any point in time.Īs a result, you can easily apply a picture-in-picture effect, a split-screen effect, make objects change their appearance or position over time during the playback. ![]()
![]() ![]() I've not used the other tools mentioned, but MakeMKV simply extracts the original video/audio content (be it H.264 AVC or VC-1) and wraps it in an MKV container. My feeling on it is I like to know I still have the original video/audio (I've spent the money on the blu-ray after all) and cheap as HDD space is, I don't have the capacity to keep backups of my rips, so if the worst happens it'll be enough hassle re-ripping, never mind re-encoding to a smaller file too. ![]() ![]() Only you can decide if that's worth it or not. This can give you a significantly smaller file (sub 10GB) that may be close to indistinguishable from the original, but it takes a long time to do, even on modern CPUs. Regardless of ripping method, you can then take it further and run the file through something like Handbrake. You can save another 2-3GB per movie by taking just the basic DD or DTS soundtrack rather than the HD audio, but then what's the point in buying blu-rays if you're going to do that. At the other end of the scale, Dumbo takes just 12GB. Avatar holds my personal single-disc record at 35GB, but Return of the King totals 64GB over its two discs. I just did The Dark Knight Rises and Avengers the other day and they clocked in at 32GB and 29GB respectively. Over the discs I've done, I've averaged about 22GB per movie but my collection contains a lot of pixar/disney stuff that tends to have shorter run lengths so that probably brings the average down a little. Using this kind of option will give you an sizeable space saving over a straight iso rip as you'll just be plucking out the movie itself (and none of the menus, trailers, extras, etc) and likely just one soundtrack and subtitle track too. On the whole it hasn't really had any problems with subtitles (I've done about 90 discs) although one or two were a little tricky to find the right track. ![]() ![]() ![]() Is a subscription service, and thus Office365-acquired applications are continually checking that your account is active. The license to use the software expires when the student or west campus employee is no longer active.
